At ZapZing Kitchen, we strive to provide excellent service and quality food. We understand that sometimes you may need to cancel an order or request a refund. This policy outlines the conditions and process for cancellations and refunds.

2. Order Cancellation

✓ Full Refund Eligible

  • • Cancellation before payment: No charges
  • • Cancellation after payment but before cooking starts: 100% refund
  • • Order rejected by us due to unavailability: 100% refund

⚠ Partial Refund

  • • Cancellation after cooking has started: 50% refund (case-by-case basis)

✗ No Refund

  • • Order is ready for delivery/pickup
  • • Order has been delivered
  • • Customer not available to receive delivery
  • • Incorrect address provided by customer

3. How to Cancel an Order

  2. Provide your order details and reason for cancellation
  3. Wait for confirmation from our team
  4. Refund will be processed within 5-7 business days

Quick Tip: The sooner you contact us, the more likely you are to receive a full refund. Time is critical for cancellation requests.

4. Refund Eligibility for Quality Issues

We take food quality seriously. You may be eligible for a refund or replacement if:

  • Order is significantly different from what was ordered
  • Food is spoiled, stale, or has foreign objects
  • Wrong items were delivered
  • Order is incomplete (missing items)
  • Severe quality issues affecting edibility

Note: You must report quality issues within 2 hours of delivery with photographic evidence.

5. Non-Refundable Cases

  • Change of mind after food is prepared
  • Taste preferences (e.g., "too spicy", "not spicy enough")
  • Delay in pickup by customer
  • Customer provided incorrect phone number/address
  • Order consumed before raising a complaint
  • Issues reported after 2 hours of delivery

7. Refund Method

Refunds will be credited to the same UPI account/bank account used for payment. We do not offer cash refunds. The refund amount will reflect in your account within 5-7 business days after approval.

8. Replacement Option

In some cases, instead of a refund, we may offer to replace the order or provide a credit for future orders. This will be discussed with you when processing your request.

9. Our Rights

ZapZing Kitchen reserves the right to:

  • Reject refund requests that don't meet policy criteria
  • Request additional evidence for quality-related complaints
  • Offer store credit instead of refund in certain cases
  • Modify this policy with notice
